It's been a few weeks since I started using D&G Light Blue eau intense, so I thought it was a good time to talk about the fragrance again. Is it really the king of summer fragrances as I made it seem in my review?
Let's briefly talk about Light Blue eau intense again and I'll let you know my thoughts after wearing it for awhile. If you missed my full review, I suggest clicking on the link to read it before reading further.
First off, I absolutely still think it's the king of summer fragrances. It reminds me so much of hanging out at the beach minus the horrible heat. It is definitely fun and energetic, but also super relaxing. I've been using Light Blue at night before I go to sleep and it's actually been helping me relax. No joke!
The citrus notes in it are just so relaxing.
In terms of its performance, I can now safely say this one is going to last six hours with one hour of strong projection. This may vary if out in the sun because Light Blue seems to get supercharged by the sun. I've actually never seen anything like it. It actually performs better in the sun.
Albeit, if you're out for too long and sweating it's still going to dissipate quicker so keep that in mind.
Because it isn't a loud fragrance, per se, I would save this one for smaller summer parties and barbecues. I feel like if you wear this to a large outdoor event or just in a large crowd of people the scent would be easily subsumed.
It's definitely still a great fragrance, but it's not going to give you Dior Sauvage like performance.
Regardless, Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue eau intense is one that you need to pick-up for the summer. I wish Dolce & Gabanna were paying me because I would promote the hell out of this fragrance.
I will say though that if you haven't tried this one already you absolutely should and now is the time to do it. You won't regret it!
